Just a cool little fly.  These are size 18 – 22

Made famous by Vince Marinaro in  A Modern Dry Fly Code.

The pattern:

Body:   Black tying thread

Hackle:  Black or ginger, clipped top and bottom

Wing:  Small jungle cock nail
